Mitchell is one of the nation’s most celebrated urban thinkers. He provides advisory services in urban planning, parks, and public space planning. He is an award-winning planner with over 40 years of experience and is internationally recognized for his leadership and contributions to contemporary planning issues.
Mitchell’s brand uses a cool-tone color palette and sleek, geometric design to evoke professionalism and experience. Due to Mitchell’s world-reknown status, it was important to curate a brand fitting of his global impact and a logo built around his name’s recognizability.
Southfork Extracts
Southfork Extracts is a small business run by my father-in-law. He has a passion for crafting homemade, all-natural extracts and I wanted to craft a brand for him to use for whenever he wants to grow his business. His brand reflects the home-grown, down to earth energy of his product and the name Southfork comes from the River running through his property.

In October of 2023, my husband and I were honored to give away some of my father-in-laws delicious extracts as wedding favors at our wedding. He has a talent for brewing a strong and sweet extract that is perfect for a whole range of cooking.


Irongate
Irongate is a development located in Lincoln County, North Carolina. The project team came to Vellichor asking for a design that highlighted the local area's history of Iron production while delivering this message in a traditional, yet clean design.

The logo resembles both an iron gate and a crown. The iron gate relating to the name and local iron production, while the crown is the primary logo for the closest urban center Charlotte, also known as the Queen City.
Kerr-Tar Regional Food Council
In May of 2024, the Kerr-Tar Regional Food Council (KTRFC) met for the first time, bringing together 15 leaders from across the five Kerr-Tar counties. These members represent a range of interests across the food system, from production and processing to access and elected office.

KTRFC’s brand is all about fun, color, and playfulness. Bursting with bold hues, quirky visuals, and a lively spirit, it embraces creativity with a lighthearted twist. Every element—from typography to imagery—feels energetic and inviting, making the brand feel approachable and full of personality.​​
